Yes finally I did it, yesterday I tie-dyed the white jeans that have been sitting in my drawer for the past year. I recently found 2 boxes of black Tintex fabric dye at my local dollar store & thankfully after staring at the box of dye on my desk for about a week yesterday I just did it. Now I did not chronicle the whole process a. because there wasn’t much too it AT ALL and b. there are like 8k YouTube videos on how to tie-dye already! So the whole process literally took me about an hour a half if that. I made a short video showing how I tied the rubber bands on sections of the jeans and removed them. I’m ecstatic at how great they turned out, a $10 or $12 pair of jeans from forever 21 revamped so simply who would have thought lol! If you have any questions, just leave a comment ENJOY!
Oh & excuse me for looking like WHO DON DID IT & RAN in the video, but it was very impromptu and I even hesitated to post it but I’m like if that’s what you look like early on a monday morning then that’s what you look like lol. Also excuse all of my screwed up faces, I talk with a lot of facial expression. Ok enough with the disclaimers ENJOY YA’LL!
Let me tell you, I’ve been searching for these boots since seeing them last May. I actually discovered them in a round about way via the Manhattan Vintage Show. In May I attended the Manhattan Vintage Show and came across Karin Bereson & Morgan Yakus’s booth for their No.6 Store, they had one of the most amazing spreads of vintage pieces. I was totally enthralled with everything I saw! I remember talking to Karin briefly and exchanging cards. When I got home I logged onto their site and voila found these beauties. Definitely an investment piece, but these will last a lifetime and keep your toes comfy & cozy. You can purchase the above styles at one of my favorite online shops Creatures of Comfort for $345. Christmas gift to Ebony anyone(echo…echo…echo)?

Loving these super comfy looks from Spanish label Loreak Mendian. This is exactly how I’m feeling today, casual and effortless. My fav look is the second, slouchy feminine topped off with a pair of comfortable kicks. Kinda baffled that there are no US retailers, but you know when theres internet theres a way:)! You can view the entire look book via their website, they’ve got a nice selection for guys as well!
Isn’t this dress just FAB! I’m lovin the bright blue color and that contrasting copper zipper, and its linen HAUTE. Guess who its by, Leanne Marshall Project Runway winner. I actually haven’t been following her since she won, but I happened to click on her etsy shop this morning and stumbled onto this beauty. Thankfully today she debuts this dress on her online webshop, for your purchasing pleasures! So go support another wonderful indie artist, thats sure to be around for a while.
