FLY LADY DI LIVE PAINTING @ RETREAT

So this weekend was packed full of events and I got a chance to stop by two…Friday night we stopped by Retreat in Brooklyn to catch Fly Lady Di(If you haven’t checked the Fresh n Fierce Feature on her CLICK HERE)painting live alongside 4 other dope artists(Pesu, Ibrahim, Concep, and Brian Rothwell)..Sounds courtesy of Rob Swift and Geology…First off let me tell you how sweet Miss Di is, oh my goshness it was such a pleasure meeting her and to see her in action…The event was actually a tribute to Miles Davis, so some of the artists painted with that theme in mind…”I can’t even draw a stick man”; so I was blown away to see how the artists create masterpieces from a blank canvas…It was an all around great event, I also snapped a few style photos which I’ll post up soon…Saturday was a beautiful day and we trekked out to Habana Outopost in Brooklyn to catch the Lil Raggammuffin Fashion Show Fundraiser…Fly Lady Di was also painting at the event, and there was a massive turn out to show support…The fashion show was pretty dope…The duo design team from Born as a Raggamuffin deconstructed pieces from Coup Detat Bk, Concept, Rockers NYC, and 64 Village that were auctioned off to raise funds for the Lil Raggamuffins Summer Camp in Jamaica this August! Last but DEFinitely not least I have to mention the Writer’s Block they literally killed it, with informative, intellectual and all inspiring spoken word.
